What Time Can’t Touch is a collection of poems that travel back in time: into the hearts, homes, graveyards, and historic buildings of Amherstburg, Ontario. Drawing inspiration from the historic buildings featured in Meg Reiner’s best-selling book Heritage Buildings of Amherstburg, six local poets from various backgrounds have asked what it means to be from a place. These poems offer readers a warm welcome into the stories of Amherstburg’s past – stories that continue to shape the town’s unique sense of place.

Where the Map Begins is an upcoming poetry anthology from Black Moss Press. The collection features fourteen poets, each hailing from one of Windsor’s ten wards. With a focus on history, memory, and identity, Where the Map Begins explores what it means to be from Windsor and honours the landmarks, neighbourhoods, and individuals that make up the story of the city.

These books were published with the assistance of university Windsor students in the editing and publishing course. This course gives students a hands-on opportunity to experience the world of publishing and work with many talented authors.
