Roger Nash has been making waves with his latest book Zigzags. From November 3rd to the 5th, Roger hosted Sudbury’s annual literary festival, Wordstock. Eight northern Ontario poets, as well as George Elliott Clarke, National Poet Laureate, and Liz Howard, winner of the Griffin Award, were in attendance. November 5th is of particular note as Roger presented Antoni Cimolino, Artistic Director of the Stratford Shakespearean Festival, with a suite of six poems, when he received an honourary Doctor of Literature at the fall convocation of Laurentian University.
Roger was also interviewed on CBC Sudbury’s radio show Morning North, where he fields questions from the host and sings one of his poems. Do head over to their website and take a listen if you’ve never heard Roger sing before, it is a rare treat!
