Terry Ann Carter Nominated for Archibald Lampman Award

UPDATE: Arc Poetry Magazine presents poets Nina Berkhout, Terry Ann Carter, Jenny Haysom
and Paul Tyler at Collected Works Bookstore – 5:00 p.m. The three finalists for the 2011 Archibald Lampman Award, given annually to the best collection of poetry by an author from the National Capital Region, will read alongside
Jenny Haysom, who won this year’s Arc Poetry Magazine Diana Brebner Prize for emerging poets.

Congratulations to Terry Ann Carter, whose Black Moss Press book of poetry A Crazy Man Thinks He’s Ernest in Paris is one of three books shortlisted for this year’s Archibald Lampman Award.

Arc Poetry Magazine gives away one award a year for a book of poetry by an author living in the National Capital Region.

The other finalists are Nina Berkhout and Paul Tyler.

The final award is announced October 27th at the Ottawa Book Awards.
